  • Grip the hook with the open part of the crimp facing externally by use of pliers.
  • Insert the open part of crimp into orthodontic archwire while moving pliers.
  • Apply force to the pliers for squeezing the crimpable part.
  • Remove the pliers from the crimpable hook.
  • You can cut into the proper length of hook with a cutter.
